CAVTAT & THE REGION

  • Ancient Greek Epidaurus, Cavtat is now one of the most beautiful villages of the Dalmatian coast

  • A nice walk by the sea, trails that lead to small attractive creeks and its proximity to Dubrovnik make Cavtat a very pleasant place to stay

  • In recent years, Cavtat has developed touristically but the city still has many buildings from the time of the Dubrovnik Republic

  • Most historical monuments belong to the Renaissance style, with traces of Gothic style : the Captain's Palace, fortifications, fortified city walls, squares, Saint-Nicolas Church, Notre Dame de Cavtat and the Franciscan monastery

  • The proximity of Dubrovnik, Mljet, The Elaphites Islands and Montenegro makes Cavtat the perfect location to enjoy unforgettable excursions
